Winter Farmer's Market this Saturday

Monthly WINTER Farmer's Market is this SATURDAY, December 20 from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Memorial Auditorium (corner of Main and South Union) in Burlington, VT!

So much goodness for the body, mind and spirit! Items that you'll find there include vegetables, prepared foods, cheese, eggs, meat, maple syrup & honey, pickles & preserves, bread, wine, plants and crafts!

Announcing . . . Baby Mira!

Mira Smejkal-Winslow was born at home into her father's arms on Friday the 28th of November 2008 at 12:21 am, weighing 8 lbs 6 oz and 19.5 inches long. We labored for 15 hours with amazing support from Papa, our midwife Peggy and her assistant Anastasia. Mira is healthy and vigorous with long black hair, dark blue eyes (for now), and finds the world intriguing, playful and peaceful. Thank you everyone for your warm wishes!
Mira Smejkal-Winslow se doma do svého otce rukouch narodila v pátek 28. listopadu 2008 v 12:21 hod, vázila 3.79 kilograms a ma výšku 49.53 cm. Jsme pracovali doma po dobu 15 hodin s úžasnou podporu od tatínka, naše porodní asistentky Peggy a Anastasia. Mira je zdravá a energická s dlouhými černými vlasy, tmavě modré oči (zatím), a zjišťuje, že svět zajímavý, hravý a mírumilovné. Děkuji vám všem za vaše teplé přání!
